Upon arrival, we might require the signatures of both the parent and student for the contract before the start of the Behind the wheel (BTW) training.
Any scheduled appointment cancellation without a minimum of 24 hours prior notice will require a $50 cancellation fee. This also applies to any three consecutive reschedulings.
All programs have a time limit of 90 days. Students are required to complete all their courses within this period (90 days), whether online, in-class, or behind the wheel, unless the school is unable to accommodate or has no open slots. A-Hero Driving School will extend the course completion deadline if deemed necessary.
All special requests, such as class cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduling, must be communicated to the school in writing within the appropriate time frame (minimum 24 hours) to avoid additional fees of at least $50 and potential termination of the service.
If you registered online and paid with a bank card or online payment and later decide to cancel your program, you will be charged a non-refundable online payment service fee of approximately 3%, which goes to the third-party company that provides the online payment services. The remaining balance of your program will be credited back to your account as soon as possible.
If the weather or vehicle is not safe to drive, the school might cancel your class for that day. If you feel unsafe driving in bad weather conditions or with the vehicle, you have the right to write to the school and request a cancellation of the class without any fees.
By submitting online or in-person payment and purchasing any program with A-Hero Driving School, you agree to the terms and conditions of the services and confirm that you have all necessary documents from the state and DMV, allowing you to legally drive or receive driving lessons in California.
If you are a teenager under 18 and wish to enroll in any courses, you must have parental permission before purchasing, using bank cards, checks, or completing any program. Any online or in-person transactions for any programs will grant the school permission to complete the program with the student, assuming the student has parental permission, and may be subject to verification.
For quality of service, parents, family members, or friends who are not officially registered as students with A-Hero Driving School are not allowed to ride along unless authorized by the school.
Students must obey driving laws and respect other students and school staff at all times during classes.
A-Hero Driving School has zero tolerance for any types of discrimination, including race, gender, religion, or sexual harassment. Any issues, concerns, or comments must be reported immediately in writing to the school's management for prompt action and resolution.
All of our vehicles may be equipped with video and audio recording cameras for quality assurance purposes.
A-Hero Driving School guarantees the quality of its services. If you are not satisfied with our services, we will either refund your money based on the program and services provided to you or make it right. However, we do not participate in any type of defamation. Any allegations in public and social media that result in damage to the business will be the responsibility of the individual to rectify and justify.
A-Hero Driving School will always maintain professionalism, integrity, and appropriate levels of licensure, insurance, and bonding as required by the DMV and the state of California when providing services to clients.
Any electronic or hard copy data and material that is the property of A-Hero Driving School should not be used or distributed in any way without written approval from the school.
Free pick-up and drop-offs are restricted and limited. We currently offer free pick-up and drop-offs in Morgan Hill, Gilroy, San Jose, Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Milpitas, and Sunnyvale. Other cities may require additional fees and rate increases. For more details about your location, please call us directly.
Any medical, physical, or psychological condition that legally prevents you from driving safely should be taken seriously. Students are not allowed to drive until they have recovered and are safe to do so.
Upon completion of the programs, students under 18 will receive a certificate of completion.
The cost to replace a lost or misplaced certificate is $35.
Any invalid check will result in a $35 fee.
Refunds will be issued based on the services provided, prorated.
The undersigned acknowledges understanding that there are risks inherent in learning to drive and driving a vehicle. While A-Hero Driving School has taken and will take every precaution to minimize such risks and maximize the safety of its students, some risks understandably remain and cannot be controlled by A-Hero Driving School or its teachers, employees, and agents.
I hereby knowingly and voluntarily waive forever any and all liability on the part of, and covenant not to sue or institute any claim against A-Hero Driving School LLC, its agents, instructors, insurers, lessors, successors, or assigns, or any sponsor (collectively A-Hero Driving School), resulting from or arising out of or in connection with my attendance at and/or participation in their training. I indemnify and hold harmless A-Hero Driving School from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which allege negligent acts or omissions of A-Hero Driving School unless such negligent acts or omissions are found by a court of law to constitute willful, wanton, or gross negligence.
Should A-Hero Driving School or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney’s fees and costs to enforce this agreement, the participant agrees to indemnify them for all such fees and costs.
I acknowledge that if I am injured or if my property is damaged during my participation in this training, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against A-Hero Driving School, its agents, instructors, insurers, sponsors, employees, successors, and assigns.
By purchasing and requesting any of our services, you are agreeing, accepting, and consenting to the terms and conditions of our services listed above and allowing A-Hero Driving School to charge your bank card or account electronically or manually for the requested program, and you are the authorized user of the bank account and financial institution provided to us.
